The Winter Haven Police Department consists of 91 sworn officers and 33 civilians.
Accreditation
Our Department is accredited by The Commission on Accreditation for Law Enforcement (CALEA) and has been state-accredited by the Commission for Florida Law Enforcement Accreditation (CFA) since 2002.
Programs
The Winter Haven Police Department is dedicated to the community through programs such as D.A.R.E., Public Safety Cadets, Neighborhood Watch, and numerous Crime Prevention functions.

Bureaus
The Winter Haven Police Department is comprised of three Bureaus that cover every aspect of law enforcement in our world-class agency. Each bureau is commanded by a Captain who reports directly to the Chief of Police.

All of the programs that the members are involved in are designed to enhance the quality of life for the residents of Winter Haven. Many of the programs are geared towards education for citizens of all ages.
