Overview
The Investigative Services Bureau is under the direction of Captain Mitch Meadows and provides the City of Winter Haven with professional and skilled investigators who are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
Investigative Services Units
This bureau provides follow-up investigations on criminal incidents not resolved by a patrol arrest. Units contained within this bureau include:

- Property and Evidence Division

General Investigations
The General Investigations Division is responsible for investigating reports of crime, apprehending suspects and taking an active role in tracking repeat offenders.

Property & Evidence
The Property and Evidence Division appropriately maintains the disposition of property, whether in compliance with court order, through release to its rightful owner, or through other legal means.

Special Investigations
The Special Investigations Division handles complaints of substance abuse violations, prostitution, and other related crimes. Crime Analysis and statistical data are also covered in this division.
