Moving to a New Residence

Are you new to Winter Haven or need to transfer your existing service to a new property? Click one of the following links for our residential utility service application:

Once you’ve completed and signed the application, it will be forwarded to a Winter Haven Water Department Customer Service representative for review. 

To verify your identity, the Winter Haven Water Department will run your information through a credit verification system, which requires your Social Security number. This process confirms identity only - not your credit score. If verification is unsuccessful, you may be asked to provide additional proof of identity. 

Our Customer Service representatives will contact you for a utility deposit payment. A utility deposit is required prior to any service activation. A New Account or Transfer of Account fee will be billed to your account. (View the current year’s rates on our Rates & Fees  page. For more information on deposit requirements, see Ordinance Section 19-8

Opening a Business or Have a Multi-Unit Building

After utility services have been terminated, please allow up to thirty days for processing of the final bill and deposit refund, if applicable.
