When something important is happening in our community — from severe weather to road closures, public meetings, or time-sensitive City updates — you deserve information you can trust.

That’s what the City works to provide every day: clear, accurate, official information, shared openly and available to everyone.

Staying connected doesn’t look the same for everyone. Some people like alerts. Others prefer emails, meetings, or conversations. All of those options are available — and you get to choose what works best for you.


Ways to Stay Connected

Our Notify Me system delivers accurate, straight-from-the-City updates, including emergency notifications, road closures, special events, weather-related information, and other time-sensitive notices.

You choose what you receive and can update your preferences at any time.

City Commission Meetings & Agendas

City Commission agendas are published and emailed in advance, and meetings are streamed live and available on demand afterward.

Whether you’re following a specific topic or simply like to stay informed, the option is always there.

    Safety Alerts & Submit Tips. Submit information to our Police and Fire teams, receive urgent push notifications, access public safety resources, and receive critical weather alerts.

Need Translation Services?

Everyone deserves access to City information, and we’re here to help make that possible. The City has tools available to bring a translator onto a live phone call when needed to help facilitate conversations. Our website can also be translated by selecting a language from the Translate dropdown at the very bottom of every page.

Many printed materials are already available in Spanish and Haitian Creole, and additional languages can be accommodated upon request. If you need translated materials or language assistance, please reach out to communications@mywinterhaven.com and our team will be happy to help coordinate.
