Seven Rivers Water Festival

  1. 1 WH-7 Waters River Festival-48
  2. 2 WH-7 Waters River Festival-50

How Did the 7 Rivers Water Festival Start?

There are seven watersheds within Polk County that feed the Alafia, Hillsborough, Kissimmee, Little Manatee, Oklawaha, Peace, and Withlacoochee rivers (hence, the event name). Those river waters impact quality and quantity of water throughout our county and Central Florida from coast to coast.

With collaboration through the City of Winter Haven, Polk County, and the City of Lakeland, the event aims to foster understanding, appreciation, and stewardship of one of nature’s greatest resources.
