Camp Off the Chain Information

Dates: June 10th through August 2nd, 2024

  • Days: Monday through Friday (No camp on June 19 or July 4)
  • Time: 7:30 am to 5:30 pm
  • Fees: $150 - Residents and $300 - Non-Residents
  • Locations: AdventHealth Fieldhouse and Conference Center, Winter Haven Recreational and Cultural Center, and Rotary Park Clubhouse. (More site-specific information in the Camp Off the Chain Locations section.)

Registration Information

2024 Registration: Summer Camp Registration Checklist 

Residents: April 8, 2024                Non-Residents: April 15, 2024

Registration Forms can be submitted electronically or completed paper packets dropped off at Rotary Park Clubhouse or AdventHealth Fieldhouse and Conference Center between 8 am and 4:30 pm. Once a completed application has been submitted, online or in-person, parents/guardians will be contacted by phone when the application has been approved and will receive the amount owed to reserve their space. The camper's spot is not guaranteed until payment has been made; staff will contact parents/guardians when ready to take payments over the phone or schedule an appointment for in-person payment.

Summer Teen Volunteer Program

Teen Volunteer Program BannerThe City of Winter Haven's Teen Volunteer Program, also called Leader In Training (LIT), is for high school students between the ages of 15 to 17 years old who are interested in earning community service hours. LITs earn hours volunteering for our summer camp programs assisting Camp Counselors with crafts and activities. Guidelines and Procedures are listed on the application below. If you cannot fill out the online application, applications are available for pick up at the AdventHealth Fieldhouse (210 Cypress Gardens Boulevard) or Winter Haven Recreational and Cultural Center (801 MLK Boulevard NE).
