Winter Haven Reads
Help us fill our orange juice glass up with 1 million pages read! Pick up an orange bookmark at the library and as you read and finish books this summer write your pages down on the orange and feed it to our resident (cardboard) alligator at the library, or squeeze in your submissions online at https://tinyurl.com/WinterHavenReads Every page counts, and together, we can fill the glass to the brim with our love for reading! Open to all ages June 3rd - August 2nd.
Reading with the Rays
Pick up a game card at the library or download one online at https://mktg.mlbstatic.com/rays/documents/y2024/reading_with_the_rays_2024.pdf As you read, track your hours by rounding the bases and collect Rays prizes along the way. When you read enough hours to get on first base, ask your parent or guardian to initial your card and bring it back to the library. The librarian will sign your card and give you a reading reward. Round the bases by reading a total of 24 hours this summer and receive two (2) tickets to a Tampa Bay Rays home game!
