Sean Gaskell, Musician: Music of the West African Kora, an Educational Concert
Sean Gaskell features songs on the kora, a 21 stringed West African harp. As a student of the instrument, he studied under the instruction of two musicians at their home in Brikama, Gambia. Many songs featured on the kora preserve an 800 year history dating back to the founding of the Mande empire. Registration opens December 8, 2023.

Bob Kealing, Author: Good Day Sunshine State: The Beatles in 1964 Florida
Through dozens of primary interviews, letters, photographs, and court transcripts, Kealing chronicles the Beatles' travels through the potboiler that was 1964 Florida. Based on his book, this presentation explores the band's seismic influence on the people and culture of the state. Registration opens January 12, 2023.
